Every now and then a talent  comes along who's voice and style re-defines the word "ARTIST".

This New York City born and raised singer/songwriter/musician got his start whilelistening to the many great songs played on top 40 radio.It was the group "3 dog night" however that put the fire in his bones to be a singer/songwriter.

His career has covered N.Y-Florida-and California at such venues as "My fathers place","The Button South,and "The Roxy" as well as airplay at radio  favorites "WBAB,NY-"WSHE"FT Laud.-"WXTB" Tampa Bay-and "KLOS" Los Angeles.

In 1988 his re-make of the Tommy James classic  "Tighter,Tighter" was featured in cashbox magazine/Billboard Magazine and Dance Music ReportFollowed up with his single"I'll carry On"which featured 3 Dog NightMembers floyd sneed on drums and Joe Schermie on bass and  was a "singles review" in  Billboard Magazine.

In 1991 His career was halted in 1991 with a back injury which resulted in surgery,thus the long delay till now.

The New CD "MD-20 THE BEST OF MICHAEL ANTHONY" is due out by 08/08/08 . A 20 song cd that covers his very best over a 23 year career with various bands.Plans are in the works for unplugged shows and media promotion! It will be available at www.cdbaby.com and www.amazon.com as well as many major digital download outlets.

His 2007 cd release titled "7" is a return to the "top 40" styles which  inspired his writing and vocals.It features 3 classic re-makes (Let it Be-Philadelphia Freedom-Never BeenTo Spain) honoring the great writers that helped mold his style and voice that have become his "signature" to his audiences. It also contains 7  originals  including the single "A little loving","Stay with me" and "Why does it still hurt".
